Greetings good citizen,

Happy couple of paid days off, as rare as those are becoming these days. Like many of the stories I comment upon, this one is currently at the top of the ‘most e-mailed’ list @ the NY Times.

Which leads me to wonder why? Did others single out this new item for the same (or similar) reasons that I did?

The title ‘A Threat so Big’ catches the eye but perhaps it’s the piddling small sums being thrown at the situation is what has captured the public’s interest.

But the amount of money in play is neither here nor there good citizen…for rather obvious reasons that we will discuss further in the ‘dissection’ of this news story.
