I'm delighted that you liked Yashwata's blog post enough to include it in your broadcast. Perhaps if you keep hammering that theme sufficiently, then some of your listeners who have been voting for Republicans--and foursquare against their own self-interests--might even begin to see the error of their ways. It's more than left and right
You hit on this a bit in your show but I don't know it you've seen this site Political Compass. It separates the economic view of left vs. right, from the governmental style of authoritarianism vs. liberalism. This may help you to explain why socialism is not communism. (And may also help explain why all authoritarian regimes left or right seem to end up as failures abet in different ways.)
